KP Typing Tutor series consists of following products:

KP Typing Tutor is one of the most popular typing tutors since 1995. It was originally designed for kids who were not familiar with computer operations and wanted to get along well with computing. This is one of the reasons why the tutor is so easy to use, and so efficient to improve your keyboarding skills.

To maximize the efficiency of computer tutoring, a program called Typing Course Generator was developed by Zijian Huang. Rather than using contents from some "famous" typing course books, the course files that KP Typing Tutor used were from the results of Typing Course Generator. Typing Course Generator had become a part of KP International Companion which includes spelling course generators.

KP Typing Tutor for DOS is kept as freeware, so people in the third world countries could learn to type using legacy 8086 computes. The Windows versions are distributed as shareware.
